Olympic Games

Yesterday, I went to Eaten Center with my family. Every weekend we go out for lunch and shopping. But yesterday was a quit different. When we walked into the shopping mall, I saw a group of people whose stand in front of a big television and they watched the hockey game between Canada and U.S.A. Although I didn't know the roles of that game, I started to watch like another people. Ten minuets late, I underestood that "I don't like to win U.S.A."
At the end of that game every body were happy. So were I.
I remembered soccer game between Iran and Astrulia in 1998. At that time Iran won, and went to world cup 1998 in France. Iranian people went to the streets and danced from evening until morrning.
Yesterday I was happy. I thought Canadian people give a celebration like that. But nobody didn't do that.

Today, YMCA gave a presentation about Canada. I learned some interesting information about Canada in that class.
Information were included: history of Canada, Canadian culture, name of Canadian celebrities, inventions of Canada, etc.
I think all of those are very important knowledge for PR. Imagine a person who says " I am Canadian", but doesn't know public language, doesn't know country's history and.......
So I would like to learn English and Canadian culture, because in Iran I spoke Farsi with the best words, idioms. And sometime I read or wrote poems, and short story.Although, I've limited here, I love Canada, and its beautiful flag. After immigrating, I have lost so many things, for example: my job, my relatives, my friends and ........
But I have found a lot of another things. Those are very valuable for me. I decided to write my memorabilia by English in the soon future. It depends how things go.
Sometimes here, problems squeeze me, gloom is tormentor but I hope to future.

The Devil's Dictionary

Today, I want to introduce a different kind of dictionary. This dictionary has writen by Ambrose Bierce in 19th century. He was an American journalist.
This dictionary doesn't contain normal definitions. All its definitions are funny and negative.
For example: in a normal dictionary, the definition of dentist is "A kind of doctor, who looks after people's teeth.
But in this book the definition of dentist is ''a person who puts metal in your mouth and takes coins out of your pocket."
Or everybody knows who a star is? Now, look at the definition of star in the devil's dictionary:
"A person who has tried long time to become famous. Now she/he wears big sunglasses so people don't recognize her/him."

We are living faster , but are we living better?

Not long ago people believed that in the future we would work less, have more free time,and be more relaxed.
But sadly this has not happened.Today we work harder,work longer hours,and are more stressed than previous generations.And although we are obsessed with machines which save us time,we have less free time than our parents and grandparents had.But what is this doing to our health?
For most people,faster does not mean better!!!!!!
